Hi, I’m Stacey MacLean, MA, LCT — a Licensed Counselling Therapist, therapeutic children’s book author, and founder of the Beat Burnout Blueprint. I’ve spent over 15 years supporting professionals, parents, and organizations as they navigate stress, overwhelm, and the realities of modern life.

I created the Beat Burnout Blueprint because I know what it feels like to run on empty. When I began my career as a Licensed Counselling Therapist 15 years ago, working with kids and families in the Yukon, I was passionate and determined to make a difference. But I dove headfirst into trauma work without understanding the weight of what I was taking on. I carried responsibility for entire communities and their mental health—and it broke me. I experienced burnout in its rawest form: the exhaustion, the collapse, the toll it takes on your mind and body.

Since then, I’ve sat with countless professionals—nurses, lawyers, therapists, leaders, parents—who are exhausted, overwhelmed, and silently wondering if this is just how life has to be. I know that place because I’ve been there. And I also know it’s possible to break free.

What I’ve learned is this: burnout is not a personal failure. It’s a signal. A sign that something needs to change. And while bubble baths and surface-level fixes may feel nice for a moment, they’re not enough. Real recovery requires practical tools, structure, and support.

That’s why I created the Beat Burnout Blueprint—a 12-week program that blends research-backed strategies, weekly group sessions, and individual coaching. It’s practical, human, and designed to create lasting change.

This program is more than a curriculum. It’s a pathway—a way forward for anyone who feels stuck in survival mode, ready to reclaim their balance, energy, and joy.
